Dorothy and her dog Toby are in the house when a whirlwind takes it to strange land. A fairy tells Dorothy that the Wizard of Oz can help her go back home. On the way to Oz, Dorothy makes friends with a scarecrow, a tin man and a lio. They decide to go to Oz with her. The four friends and Toby have lots of adventures on the yellow brick road that goes to Oz.
