Charles Perrault(1628 - 1703) wrote fairy tales. He was born in France. Puss in Boots is no ordinary cat. It is very intelligent! Its master is a young man with no money. Puss goes to the king and convinces him that the young man is rich. The young man marries the king's daughter.
